UC Irvine School of Medicine will host its third annual Ultrafest: a free ultrasound symposium for medical students. Ultrafest seeks to teach and develop students’ skills in bedside ultrasound, through hands-on practice and small-group instruction with live models and clinician instructors.

Special Guest: Dr. Vicki Noble
|Dr. Vicki Noble is the Director of the Division of Emergency Ultrasound at Massachusetts General Hospital and works as an emergency physician there. She is an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical school. She did her residency training at the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency training program and did a one year fellowship in emergency ultrasound at the St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City. She is the past chair of the American College of Emergency Physician’s ultrasound section and is on the Board of Directors for the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. She is an author of the Manual of Emergency and Critical Care Ultrasound, published by Cambridge University Press and has written over 50 peer reviewed articles on point of care ultrasound.|
A free Happy Hour Reception for all attendees and instructors will be held from 4-6:30pm at Orange County Medical Association (MAP).
